This week on the DoneDeal YouTube channel we're test driving the Mazda 3 Skyactiv-X. It's a competitor to the Volkswagen Golf, the SEAT Leon, the Ford Focus and many other mid sized hatchbacks.
This particular one is the 100th anniversary edition which comes in a lovely white colour, with a burgundy interior. It has all the bells and whistles too, lane assist, radar controlled cruise control as well as blind spot monitoring and many more.
Prices start at about €27,500, however the 100th anniversary costs over €37,000.
As standard, the spec is very good, the finish in the cabin is very high quality and the overall look of the car is stunning. The sloping roof does eat into the rear headspace, and the boot is a little smaller than some of its rivals, however if you're able to deal with that then it's a brilliant alternative.
Apple car play works perfectly and the the manual gearbox is fantastic, one of the bests in the business in fact!
