Salvagnini panel bender: HVAC sandwich panel and film scoring on stainless steel with P2-1620

In this video, we are bending a stainless steel component 0.8 mm thick used as one of the outer shells of a sandwich panel for HVAC applications.

The stainless steel is film-coated to protect the surface from scratches during processing. To assist downstream operations, the P2-1620 is equipped with the RSU option and the UR2 tool, which is used to score the protective film—making it easy to remove before assembly.
