I Broke My Own Photography Code – Shooting an Abandoned Cemetery

I always said I’d never photograph a cemetery until this one changed my mind.
Some subjects carry their own atmosphere. Memory, silence, decay, they speak for themselves.
For years, I avoided photographing cemeteries because I felt they imposed emotion instead of revealing it.
But this place was different. The ivy, the rust, the forgotten walls — they didn’t speak of death, but of how time reclaims everything.

In this video, I revisit one of my personal “codes” in photography: never shoot what already dictates the feeling.
