Day in Poole Dorset England

2 days family trip in Dorset the South Coast of England
Boscombe / Bournemouth & Poole

We packed lots of mauritian snacks (gato cravatte/ baguette fromage) & sandwiches to eat on the way to Boscombe beach. Hot sunny day and the car park is full we had to wait for to get a slot. The traffic wardens were working very seriously roaming around and issuing fines frequently.
We finally parked then made our way to the beach. The kids played in water for a short while, however the water was cold and dirty and they went to play in the sand.
We then packed our things to go for walk on the Boscombe pier. Outside the pier there’s lots of shops and we got some ice cream. The pier had a lot of information boards about the history of Boscombe beach and there was a music trail showcasing different types of musical instruments. The kids had a lot of fun playing with the instruments.
From the pier the beach can viewed and far in the sea the Polar Bear of Isle of Wight cliffs can be spotted.
We then made our way to Boscombe Spa Hotel where we are spending the night. We all had shower then rested until we were ready for dinner. We’re heading to Christchurch Road in Bournemouth where there’s few halal spots and Pepe’s amongst them.
After dinner we went for a short drive around Bournemouth pier then went back to our hotel to rest for the night.
We woke up to a beautiful sunny morning. We had a nice breakfast then checked out. Today we’ll be enjoying our day in Poole before heading home.
It was a 30-40mins drive to Poole Quay and we parked in Quayside car park. Then walked on the Quayside towards City cruises. We then boarded for a 1hr boat ride. It was a great experience, lots of interesting facts were shared we even saw the Millionaires Row, a bunch of houses in the Sandbanks belonging to celebrities including Harry Redknapp (The former football manager ) , Rick Stein (the famous chef) and Geoffrey Boycott (the former cricketer) as well as the Oasis singer Liam Gallagher.
After the boat trip we walked around the Quay and we visited some of the local shops selling souvenirs and local crafted items.
The kids played at the amusement arcade called the Neptune’s family entertainment centre.
We had some chips from the local chippy before heading to the car park. We then made our way home. We ordered some Caprino’s to conclude this lovely short trip.
