Not one but TWO Rapido RTL Turboliners were running at the Empire Valley Railroad layout at the Queens County Model Railroad Association in Astoria. Between the two late Phase III Turboliners and the FL9 powered Metro North commuter train, it was like the early 1990s in the Hudson Valley.
At the time of publishing, Rapido still has a number still for sale and they are still available at local model train stores.
