Will the evolving post-mass media environment lead to a wider range of voices and higher quality of ideas in the public conversation? Or will it reinforce existing patterns of power and influence? The Fourth Annual Rebele Symposium will address these issues with Professor Catherine Squires, Cowles Professor of Journalism,Diversity and Equality, University of Minnesota; Katie Orenstein, Founder of The OpEd Project and Ivan Sigal, Executive Director, Global Voices. Moderating will be Professor Ted Glasser,Professor of Communication, Stanford University and Christine Larson, Rebele First Amendment Fellow, Stanford University.
