I cracked this open & was excited at what I found! Mudlarking w/ Nicola White (November 22)

Oh my goodness! This is the first one of these I have ever found! Something made me stop and pick up an odd shaped lump from the muddy Thames foreshore. I knew from the look and feel of it that there was something inside. My suspicions were soon confirmed! This is the first time I have found one of these and when I got it home I put it in a bucket of water to try to preserve it! During this outing I also find a lovely medallion but I cannot for the life of me see what is on it and so perhaps you can help me. There are also a few other things I could do with your help on.
