Episode 774

Val (Anne Reid) tries to convince Ken (Bill Roache) that she doesn’t have feelings towards Ray (Neville Buswell). When Ken doesn’t believe her she reminds him of his affair with Jackie Marsh (Pamela Craig) back in 1966. Jerry (Graham Haberfield) is fed up with his colleagues’ not focusing on the plumbing work for the maisonettes. Maggie (Irene Sutcliffe) interferes between Gordon (Bill Kenwright) and Lucille (Jennifer Moss). Dennis (Philip Lowrie) tries in vain to trace Jed Stone (Kenneth Cope) to ask him to be his best man. Ken makes up with Val and reveals he has put their name down for one of the maisonettes. Jerry informs a surprised Len (Peter Adamson) that their working partnership is over.
