Easy cooking - Palak Paneer Recipe
Ingredients:
Spinach - 1 lb
Paneer - 200 gm
Onion - 2 medium size
Tomatoes - 2 medium size
Green chillies - 4 small numbers
Curry leaves - 10
Shahi paneer masala - 1 table spoon
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves) - 1 tablespoon
Tomato sauce - 1 tablespoon
Salt - as per taste
Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Method
1. Boil 1 lb spinach in a pot of water.
2. Grind the spinach to a paste in a blender.
3. In a heated pan add 1 tablespoon olive oil and fry chopped onions, green chillies and curry leaves.
4. Add the finely chopped tomatoes and saute.
5. After the tomatoes are cooked soft, add 1 tablespoon full of Shahi paneer masala, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder and stir.
6. Add the paneer cubes and stir well.
7. Then add the ground palak paste.
8. Add salt as per taste.
9. Add 1 tablespoon of tomato sauce to give a tangy taste.
10. Allow it to boil for 5 minutes in low flame.
11. Serve the palak paneer hot with Jeera rice or rotis.
