Suspense is one of the greatest drama series of the Golden Age of Radio — a masterpiece of tension, atmosphere, and psychological storytelling. Broadcast on CBS from 1940 to 1962, the series produced more than 945 thrilling episodes, with over 900 still surviving today.
Known as “radio’s outstanding theater of thrills,” Suspense followed a powerful formula:
