D3 路(都會公園段)啟用 Commissioning of Road D3 (Metro Park Section)

為加強啟德發展區的道路網絡及對外連繫，土木工程拓展署於區內建造D3路(都會公園段)。

新路段是一條雙線雙程分隔行車道，連接前北面停機坪的啟德城中心、承啟道與位於前機場跑道的承豐道。路段長約1.1公里，當中包括高架行車道 、行車隧道及地面行車道。

這新路段可令啟德周邊地區，如土瓜灣、 九龍城、黃大仙及港鐵啟德站的車輛，無需經過九龍灣繁忙的道路， 更直接往返啟德前跑道區及前南面停機坪一帶，包括啟德郵輪碼頭、香港兒童醫院和日後的新急症醫院。

第一階段兩條行車線已於2022年年底啟用。

另外，位於新路段旁約3.9公頃的休憩用地和海濱長廊，預計於2023年完成 ，為啟德發展區增加一個新的休閒好去處，方便市民觀賞啟德獨有的海景和别具特色的休憩空間。

To enhance the road network of Kai Tak Development and its connectivity with the hinterland, the Civil Engineering and Development Department constructed Road D3 (Metro Park Section).

The new road is a dual two-lane road that connects Kai Tak City Centre and Shing Kai Road at the former north apron with Shing Fung Road at the former runway. The new road of about 1.1 km long includes elevated road, underpass and at-grade road.

Vehicles from the hinterland of Kai Tak (such as To Kwa Wan, Kowloon City, Wong Tai Sin) and MTR Kai Tak Station can travel more directly, without going through the busy roads in Kowloon Bay, to and from the developments at and near the former runway and former south apron, including the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, the Hong Kong Children’s Hospital and the future New Acute Hospital.

Two traffic lanes were opened to the public in end 2022 as phase 1.

Besides, a total of about 3.9 hectares of public open space and promenade adjoining the new road are anticipated to be completed by 2023, providing the public a new unique leisure spot and the enjoyment of the unique sea view of Kai Tak.
