Bonfest 2022 – Main Arena

Kirriemuir Scotland will see the much welcomed return of Bonfest , the Bon Scott International music festival after a two year Covid hiatus. AC/DC Fans from all over the world will gather in the little red town to pay their respects and celebrate the music and life of the legendary frontman in Bons home town.

This year the Bonfest committee have been working tirelessly to bring some of the worlds best musical artists and AC/DC tribute bands to get you rocking over the three day period.

Friday night in the main venue will see Love Train followed by AC/DC tribute band from down under Thunderstruck - The Ultimate AC/DC tribute band from Australia and to wrist up friday night will see special guest DUST CODA, Who are currently on a support tour with Adrian Smith and Richie Kotzen

Saturday Night in the main venue will see Gary Moats Burnt Out Wreck kick off the proceedings, followed by Special Guests, The Amazing Florence Black from Wales and Germany’s B.O.N the AC/DC Show return for an epic Bon Scott Set, featuring many raririties.

Sunday the final night of the festival will see Bad Actress take to the stage followed by the return of the highly energetic Massive Wagons after their initial epic performance at the 2018 festival. Closing the Bon Scott International festival will be newcomers BON UK who will be Absorbing the raw energy of early AC/DC with a no-frills approach, they let the heartbeat of drums, the thunder of bass and the explosive power of guitars do the talking. Then add the soaring vocals of none other than Geordie’s frontman (Brian Johnson's band before AC/DC). These five passionate top musicians make the perfect cocktail known as BON UK

Bonfest 2022 – Town Hall

The Town hall Venue returns for 2022 with arguably the best free line up of the festival. Starting with a bang from Fife we will see Stormchaser take to the stage followed by Brocks Den and The Mighty Grande. Saturday Kicks off with Bonfest Regulars The Ruckus followed by Trident then a very special AC/DC tribute band called Black Angus. Ash the drummer used to play the role of Angus in the band Live Wire and front man Gary also played the role of Bon Scott with Live wire. This will be packed so get down early to avoid disappointment. The music goes on long into the night and after a few hours break, rock cover band Cherry Bombz will round off the Saturday in the ten hall.

The final day in the town hall, complete with Hangovers you will be blown away by the incredible Jason Sweeney Band there. Absolutely not to be missed, Hard Rockers from Glasgow Ivory Saints are up next followed by an old festival favourite Joker in the hole who will close off the Sunday.

With thousands of people attending the three day celebration and the whole town getting involved, this really is a festival for all music lovers that you don’t want to miss.
