Painting an Avocado with Acrylics- Expressive Brushstrokes

In today's video, I'm sharing my process for an avocado speed painting I created this week using a new set of heavy-body acrylics. The objective of this smaller piece was to explore this kind of acrylic paint and to do something a bit more fun and relaxed.

I'm currently doing plenty of experimenting with acrylics as I'm looking for ways to make them feel and look more like oils. I usually love painting with oils, as they allow such rich color and I love their ability to leave expressive texture behind. However, because they take so long to dry, and I'm looking for ways to have artwork ready for selling faster, I've decided to give acrylics another try!
