E3M7: The Haunted Halls, is the secret level of this episode and is a masterful display of atmospheric level design. American McGee expertly utilized Quake's dark aesthetic and limited space to create a genuinely oppressive and unforgettable challenge, proving that some of the best levels aren't the largest, but the most creatively constructed.
