#12 Flower Farmer Struggles, Mowing, Fence Setup, Peonies for Drying

Now that we're into June it's starting to feel like I'm getting behind. I would like to spend my whole week planting and weeding but other jobs need to get done. This week I harvested the last of the peonies and sweet william. I was able to get more dahlias in the ground on my flower farm and spent some time weeding the lisianthus. With not planting the lisianthus in fabric again this year I'm finding it very time consuming to keep them weeded. I'm really hoping that every year that I continue no-till methods on my field that the weed pressure will decrease. We also needed to get the pasture closed off because the goats kept wandering farther down and eventually out of the pasture. Normally I would do this earlier in the spring but I procrastinated with this job thinking it would take them quite awhile to make it to this far into their field.
