RVV-SD is an air-to-air medium-range missile that is designed to engage aerial targets (fighters, bombers, strikers, military-transport aircraft and cruise missiles) around-the-clock, from any aspect, in ECM environment, against background of earth or water, including multi-channel firing according to “fire-and-forget” principle.
The missile is created on the basis of the RVV-AE missile, it has increased maximum range at front hemisphere up to 110 km and enhanced noise immunity.
