When it was decided to do Janda Baik this weekend, many of us started inviting fellow bikers. Little did we know over 30 bikes of all varieties showed up!
Usually trail rides of over 10 bikes would mean spending more time waiting than riding, so we decided to split into different groups.
The trail starts from the Janda Baik reserve and ends at Kampung Chennah, in Seremban. It is approximately 15km long only. Faster riders will be able to complete the whole trail and back in 7-8 hours, but casual riders usually stop at a river about mid way and make the return journey, so that they exit before sun sets.
This day on the way back, while navigating a narrow ledge, a fellow biker accidentally fell into the gorge. Luckily he was fine with some minor bruises. After spending much effort, we were able to extract his bike which, miraculously, started after a few cranks. He was able to ride out with it.
What a memorable ride!
