The pilots of a Virgin Atlantic A340 come face-to-face with a serious problem as they make their final approach into Europe’s busiest airport: London Heathrow. Running low on fuel, and with darkness approaching, the pilots and airline personnel on the ground have to work together under time pressure. The tough decisions they are forced to make, could mean the difference between life and death, for the over 100 people on board. This is the story of Virgin Atlantic flight 024.
