Came across this sweet mountain pass while on a multiday tour in Kyushu Japan. I was about 4hrs into the second day, and thought I had found Nirvana! The ride up the mountain was smooth and free of traffic, then right on the decent, the sun was in my eyes, the road was littered with crazy potholes and huge bumps and cracks in the road after a recent earthquake. went from heaven to white knuckle pretty much in a single corner. It is hard to see in the video, but the gradient was pretty extreme. The Honda GB350 handled well, had the back tire kicked out a couple of times, but never lost control, even though I was pretty exhausted and carrying a solid amount of gear on the rear of the bike. What an epic day!
