Now that we're using FMOD 2.0 and Unity 2019.something, we need to update our old audio occlusion video we made about 2 years ago! So in this video, not only are we updating our old occlusion script, but we're looking at a more detailed way we can check for objects in our players environment that may obstruct and occlude the sounds they're listening to. In this video we take some music and recordings of people speaking, add an occlusion parameter to the audio events, control a Low Pass Filter and the volume of the audio using that parameter, and then hook it up to a script that fires multiple line casts in our scene to check for obstructing objects. #gameaudio #FMOD #Occlusion
