Arunachal Pradesh celebrated the 77th Republic Day with patriotic fervour in Itanagar, as Governor Lt Gen (Retd) K.T. Parnaik unfurled the National Flag at Indira Gandhi Park.
The event featured a disciplined parade by police and IRBN, vibrant cultural performances, and the Governor's address emphasizing constitutional values, Aatmanirbhar Bharat, and the 150th anniversary of ‘Vande Mataram’.
Parnaik hailed the Constitution as India's moral compass, paid tribute to freedom fighters and security forces, and praised Arunachalees' resilience and unity. Chief Secretary Manish Gupta announced Gold and Silver Medals for Statehood Day on February 20.
