Traditional martial arts have been an important source of inspiration for classical Chinese dance as practiced today, and sword dance is a unique blend of artistry and athleticism that showcases the dancers' strength, control, and spiritual one-ness with their swords. Guided by drum beats, the audience is invited to imagine oneself close up at the sword's tip, and feel the dramatic tension as it is just about to pierce through a curtain of waterdrops.

Dance Revelasian is a semi-professional dance company composed of young adults who are dedicated to promoting ethnic Chinese heritage. Through movement and performance, their mission is to share traditional, classical, contemporary and ethnic Chinese dance culture at the highest level of quality and passion their company can offer.
