Tyler, The Creator really teased his album a year before it dropped 👀

From his feature on Freddie Gibbs’ “Something To Rap About”, Tyler teased his upcoming album “Call Me If You Get Lost” and its theme of boats and travelling…

And whether it was on purpose, or a coincidence, the instrumental on “Something To Rap About” sounds pretty similar to the very end of the video, where he jumps off the boat, recalling back to how he said “this (the instrumental) sound like the moment I jump off it (the boat)”, on Freddie’s album!

Some of this might be a reach, but I thought it was a pretty cool easter egg! Shoutout to ‪@8bitballerz‬ whose video inspired me to look deeper into this and add my own spin to it 🫡
