The Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Nigeria has kept the Monetary Policy Rate at 27 per cent, citing sustained disinflation and improved macroeconomic stability. Speaking at the November committee meeting, governor of the apex bank, Olayemi Cardoso adjusted the asymmetric corridor at +50/-450 around the MPR while leaving other parameters constant.
