Is Pimsleur worth it?

Pimsleur is a unique language program in that it focuses on audio learning. Each level has 30 lessons that are 30 minutes each. So each level is 15 hours of learning. I highly recommend this program. It has become a part of my daily routine, an enjoyable part of the drive to work. I have found that language learning is best undertaken when the focus is audio, because you are learning to hear the language, which actually prepares you to speak with native speakers.
As of February 2020, I have completed Pimsleur 1 through 5 in German and Pimsleur 1 in Mandarin.
