I share 3 of my favorite brushes for studio and plein air painting. These are all synthetic bristles. I use brushes that can switch between media as I work in oil, acrylic, watercolor, and casein.
I explain my current favorites: Catalyst poly tip by Princeton, Grey Matters by Richeson, and Aspen by Princeton. I'm not sponsored by either company. These are my thoughts on brushes and how I make my selections.
(I forgot to include)
*Muy importante!!! Each of these has a no-glare ferrule! This is a must for painters working outside!
I hope this helps you with selecting your own brushes for painting in acrylic, water-mixable oil, traditional oil, or even casein.
