About This Release:

Keeping the fire burning for raw hardware Techno doused with heavy amounts of EBM and Acid, Dummy Hand are excited to present Autumns' latest album 'Basic Face'. With a seemingly endless stream of releases, Autumns has been nothing if not prolific, churning out album after album of top tier tracks drawing influence from early Industrial and acid laced EBM akin to the respective forefathers Throbbing Gristle and Nitzer Ebb.


Autumns is an outlet for electronic post-punk with a lethal pulse. After a brace of rough demos without preliminary hype, the project emerged fully formed on Karl O'Connor's (aka Regis) illustrious label Downwards back in 2014, the youngest act in a new vanguard of artists that included the likes of Tropic of Cancer, DVA DAMAS and The KVB.


Preceding releases for Opal Tapes, iDEAL Recordings and DKA Records have seen the project engaged in a rough trade of transgressive noise, dysfunctional metal dance and DIY punk angst, yet each of these milestones has represented a different proposition. Autumns brings a more dub inflection to this album, leaving room for spring reverbs and heavy low end to drive the tracks forwards whilst still allowing pounding kick drums to lay the groundwork for unending grooves set to punish the dancefloor.
