Erin Blackburn, Coral Boardman, Romi Hutton, Sophie Morgan and Lauren Ward were short-lived girl group P5. They all studied dance together at Preston College in Lancashire. Fellow students who were studying music and performing arts at the same campus had recruited the girls to form a pop group as part of their coursework, and so P5 were born. Released in late November 2010, their only single, 'Crawling Back To You', was written by Nick Foster (Kylie, S Club, East 17), Bob Patmore (Fast Food Rockers), Anne Judith Wik (ex-Soda) and Ronny Svendsen (Jennifer Rush, Blue, BoA). It was produced by Fredrik Järnberg (Melodifestivalen, A*Teens, Army Of Lovers) and Gustav Jonsson (Kristine W, Anastacia, Vanessa Amorosi). It made a very respectable #22 on the UK chart - physical sales, anyway! It was released by Genepool Records, who had previously issued releases by the likes of a-ha's Magne Furuholmen, IAMX (Sneaker Pimps member Chris Corner's solo project) and Norwegian synth-pop band Lorraine.
