11+ Minutes Flighttime with NEW Lava II 680mah Lipo and Air75 Wisp Whoop | NEW PERSONAL BEST

Hello my whoop friends! Good news for flight time lovers. I have achieved a new record hover flight time with the Betafpv Air75 Wisp whoop and the new Lava 2 680 milliampere-hour 95C LiPos. 11 minutes and 45 seconds from 4.35 to 3.3 volts, with a recovery voltage of 3.62 volts after 15 minutes. As well as a beginner race practice flight with a flight time of 7 minutes and 30 seconds from 4.35 to 3.3 volts, with a recovery voltage of 3.66 volts after 15 minutes.

The tiny whoop in this test was no longer a completely stock Betafpv Air75 Wisp. I installed lighter titanium screws and removed the rubber from the BT2.0 180-degree plug. As a result, this whoop weighs about 0.5 grams less than the original Air75 Wisp, at 20.21 grams. I also replaced the frame with a regular Air75 2 frame and the canopy with a standard Air 2 canopy. The glow-in-the-dark parts of the Wisp version were too fragile for me.

I would generally not recommend the combination of an Air75 whoop and Lava 2 680 milliampere-hour LiPos because the frame and canopy are too fragile for the weight of the LiPo.
However, for hover and cruise pilots who do not crash much, the combo is okay. Or for beginner race practice as shown in the video, but preferably in a larger room and with carpet flooring, the combo is also okay.

I also do not recommend discharging the LiPo this deeply every time as I did in the video. In this test, the LiPo was completely empty after the flight. The recovery voltage of 3.62 volts after 15 minutes was a bit too low. Ideally, it would be 3.7 volts after 15 minutes. However, 3.6 volts is still within an acceptable range for us whoop race pilots. Our LiPos usually do not reach their normal end of life anyway, as they get externally damaged in crashes beforehand.
Ideally, however, a recovery voltage of 3.7 to 3.8 volts 15 minutes after the flight would be best.
