This week, Barb and I are experimenting with metal leaf on the gel plate—aiming for a more organic, painterly effect.

Our goal was to create beautifully layered papers for collage or mixed media, using a combination of foam stamping and shimmering metal leaf flakes. The textures and effects we achieved are fabulous—but not without a few missteps along the way!
