Royal Enfield HNTR 350 URBAN / RURAL BACK ROAD FUN BIKE ! 👍

The Royal Enfield HNTR is a 350cc single cylinder, with the J series engine that powers this fine little motorcycle. Worth a look and consider it for back lane pottering/scratching and urban streets.

It has cast wheels which mean along with the blacked out engine and other parts it is easier to keep clean. It has 2 seventeen inch wheels which mean, along with a different rake angle to the Classic and Meteor, it is an agile handling bike. Low seat height means it can be ridden by people under 5' 8'' and even a six footer would be okay on this machine. If you're well over six foot NO.

It can do phenomenal mileage depending on how it is ridden (Imperial gallon) up to (and over) 100 mpg down to about 85 mpg. Really frugal and in the UK it costs £56 for the annual road (tax) fund licence.

This is a walk around review by an owner - myself. I am new to smaller bikes and I needed a bike that can live in my garden shed and also be easily manouverable.

Does it have weaker points ? Yes it does. Suspension and tyres could be improved, but this is a 20 horse power little ''thumper''. Low tax and economical but most of all FUN ! Thats what draws me in, you use all of the power of this machine and it gives back some character when ridden. Unlike some modern machines it does have presence and character.

It does have ABS but thats about it for higher tech features.

Its looks are that of a ''baby Bonneville'' and I just love the design team who did an amazing job to make a modern classic. I believe British engineers at Harris Egineering were responsible for its design and concept too.

The one featured is Dapper White and is a 2023 model that had only done 900 miles when I purchased it. I am pleased with this machine and thanks to Bournemouth Honda who did me a good deal and all transacted over the telephone. Great service. Very happy with the fit and finish on the bike. A much more accomplished machine than Enfield's of 25 years ago plus.
