The Charpente is a beautiful home, perfect for retirees looking to downsize.

The clients wanted to live smaller without compromising on luxury, and our team were happy to make their home dreams come true. The Charpente explores the possibilities of cladding within the home, using a variety of different profiles within the design. The main feature of the home is the timber cladding in the front living room, elegantly flowing from the wall to the ceiling, surrounding inhabitants in warm, earthy tones, the perfect place to sit with a book.

Throughout the home, beautiful timber handrails are integrated into the design, becoming a part of the home and supporting its inhabitants. The hallway is lit by two large skylights, flooding it with ample natural light.

The living space continues the skylight motif, with three above the kitchen island to ensure plenty of light when cooking. The kitchen island continues the timber motif, with the cladding creating continuity from the front room and into the family area. The family area also considers the wood theme, with a custom television unit adding a point of difference in the home.

The master bedroom is exceptionally unique in its design. It features a stunning scalloped feature wall, a subtle but impactful texture. It connects to the courtyard, a beautiful outdoor seating area, creating the perfect place to sit with a book in the morning.

DESIGN
When designing a home, we don’t look at it as a series of rooms and spaces – we look at the people who will inhabit the space. We take the time to understand your needs and the needs of your family and create a design based upon those requirements. We then go over these plans with you in detail to ensure everything is exactly as you need it. Our Senior Designer will inspect your site to fully understand the surroundings and how best to design the home taking into account your requirements.

PRESTART SELECTIONS
At Domination Homes, we go through an extensive selection process where you will decide exactly what is to be included in your home. Our state-of-the-art showroom is a playground for adults – you will be able to choose from a range of high quality fittings and finishes to create the home you have always dreamed of. Perfecting your home is important to us, so at any time during this selection process we welcome ideas and suggestions of new and innovative products. Check out our showroom here.

CONTRACTS
Unlike many other home builders in Perth , we take a unique approach to the building process. A smaller fee is asked for upfront to cover the cost of finalising plans and an addenda. Once both parties have agreed on the final product, a contract is signed and deposit paid which represents a percentage of the final contract. We believe our process is fairer for our clients and better suited to building a custom home, where the design and prestart selections can vary and dramatically affect the price of the home. Our clients know the full costs of their new home in advance, so there are no surprises or budget overruns. We want you to be comfortable at every stage of the building process.
