After months of speculation former Congressman Tim Ryan announced he will not run for governor in 2026.
In a statement released Friday morning. Ryan said, "After careful consideration, much prayer and reflection, and after long conversations with my family, my closest friends and advisors, I’ve made the decsion not to run for governor in 2026."
The means both major parties have their candidates, Republican Vivek Ramaswamy and Democrat Amy Acton.
After Ryan’s announcement, Acton’s campaign released a statement that said she’s focused on Ramaswamy and lowering costs for Ohioans. It did not even mention Tim Ryan.
Our panel will also discuss why every member of Ohio's Congressional delegation voted to release the Jeffrey Epstein files, changes Ohio lawmakers made to lower property taxes, new restrictions on intoxicating hemp candies and drinks, changes to Ohio’s mail in voting system and President Trump’s call to ban it completely.
This Week's Guests Include Morgan Harper (Progressive Activist), Terry Casey (Republican Strategist), and Andrew Tobias (Senior Reporter, Signal Ohio).
