278: Broadhembury and Hembury Hillfort (Blackdown Hills 2025)

This is the sixth of my eight films I shot in the Blackdown Hills in May and July 2025.

Today I visit the lovely Broadhembury, one of the most beautiful villages I have so far encountered in the Blackdown Hills.

The walk in this film is a circular route around the valley of the River Tale, including a climb onto North Hill and walking around the edge of a local gliding club. There is a second, very short walk towards the end where I visit the nearby Hembury Hillfort, from where I get probably the best views of the day.

Filmed in the Blackdown Hills in the county of Devon. Locations include Broadhembury, North Hill and Hembury Hillfort.
