In my latest visit to Langford Lakes little has changed since the previous month, although there definitely seemed to be far fewer Canade geese!
Besides the usual cormorants, I capture some little egrets, a common sandpiper, and the elusive kingfisher makes another appearance. This time I even managed to get some video of it in flight, although it was very difficult to keep it in shot, as it streaks around really fast.
This marks the halfway stage of my project to document a whole year at Langford Lakes - only 6 more to go! Join me here again in August.
