A three part documentary produced by Tamkeen, telling the stories of domestic workers from Sri Lanka, Philippines and Indonesia working in Jordan. Many women migrant workers feel isolated. They face excessive working hours, delays and non-payment of salaries, restrictions on freedom of movement, and confiscations of passports. Mothers sacrifice their own dreams so that their children can have the luxury of education and the security of living under a steady roof. Consequently, the children find themselves having to grow up deprived of the presence of their mothers.
