Join us on this return flight from Ostend Brugges at the Belgian North Sea shore back to the home base Augsburg, Germany. We’re departing Ostend on a shortened IFR departure and overfly Brussels along the way. Although prevailing weather conditions would have allowed a flight under VFR, I decided to complete the flight under IFR. Belgiums airspace is very dense, with lots of military zones, where no VFR crossing clearances are granted.
