A POV ride on 2x Kone Eco3000 E3X escalators from 2005 at Berlin Sudreuz Station (a major S Bahn interchange, with the name translating to South Cross). Sadly all escalators (Kone and ThyssenKrupp) are under replacement now by Schindler.
In all, there are 20 escalators here. 16 were Kone and 4 were ThyssenKrupp. All will be gone by the end of December which is a real shame because they run very well and the new ones don’t look as nice. This set is the main entrance set, there is an identical set opposite at the other less-used entrance. Sadly one of those was broken at the time. Someone came to fix it but that was when I was travelling home…
