Fixing a Bad Guitar Kit: BexGears Body Prep & Rescue. If it's a day, call it a day—we’re talking guitars and life! Today we are back at the workbench to tackle the challenges of the BexGears engraved guitar kit. While the design is beautiful, the "out of the box" reality left a lot to be desired, including raised wood joints and uneven sanding sealer.

In this episode, I’m walking you through my process for "saving" a guitar body. We're using mini chisels to scrape down those pesky raised lines, removing factory sanding sealer to ensure the wood actually takes stain, and discussing the customer service journey with BexGears. Whether you’re a seasoned builder or a first-time modder, there’s plenty of "whittling" and wisdom to go around!
