Mount Mary : ”Mount Mary”, their debut album, will be released Jan29th, 2021 (Vinyl LP and digital streaming) via Ainoa Productions.
Their first single ”I'm Like a Mountain” Aug30th,2019, immediately got attention, being played on the radio stations around the world.
Following singles ”October”, ”No Getaway”, ”Mean Old Woman” and ”Holy Matrimony” (feat. Michael Monroe of Hanoi Rocks on harmonica)
have found their way to many popular Spotify playlists, Finnish and international radio stations. Also several interviews and acoustic live sessions on the radio waves of Finnish rock stations have gotten positive feedback.
On the coming debut album, ”Too Much Time” continues to rock hard ,while ”Silent Hell” digs deeper into the stoner rock feel.
”Spine Made out of Willow” and ”Ode to the Forest” take even heavier approach towards progressive rock, and the last track ”Footprints in the Dark," grows into a massive symphony, with Sweden's brilliant keyboard guru Per Wiberg (Opeth, Spiritual Beggars, Kamchatka, Candlemass, King Hobo , Mojobone etc.), who is giving his treat with Hammond, piano, moog and mellotron.
Jukka Jylli, MM's bass player ,has even dug out his clarinet from naftaline , and Maria plays all the violins, creating a one woman string orchestra, as well as in ”Spine Made out of Willow”.
