The secret behind words is that each independently pronounced letter in a word is called SWARA and this came into existence in Kruta Yuga or Satya Yuga. This word is OM which was formed by A U M letters.
Combination of swaras formed Mantra. There is no pressure while pronouncing these swaras and can be spelt independently.
HRUSWASWARA - one maatra - maatra is one blink of eye.
DHEERGASWARA - two matras
PLUTASWARA - three maatras
Totally there are 50 letters in Aksharamaala.
One more variation of letters is related to breath and is called prana.
ALPAPRAANA - short breath
MAHAPRANA - long breath
to get rid of asthma and for proper pranayama, one has to pronounce correct letters correctly at the correct time.
the first letter A in kannada has the power to overcome or win over death.
second letter AA - power to attract and shine amongst all.
third letter E - gives strength to self and pleasant feeling to others.
fourth letter EE - good oratory skills
Those who cannot do yoga/walking etc, should keep pronouncing these letters which gives immense energy due to vibration of the letter. Every letter has spiritual power which heals most difficult things.
