#Fertilizer
Adenium plants are succulents that store water, so you can water them every other day in the summer and once every 10–15 days in the winter, depending on the climate. Make sure the top 2–3 inches of soil are dry before watering. Yellow leaves may indicate over or under watering.
Temperature
Adenium plants prefer warm temperatures, ideally between 65–90°F, and can tolerate temperatures as low as 20°C. They can tolerate dry air, but will die if exposed to temperatures below 50°F for long periods.
Light
Adenium plants need full sun, especially during the summer months. Direct sunlight is preferable.
Humidity
Adenium plants need good humidity for flowering and growth.
Fertilizer
Adenium plants don't need much fertilizer, but you can feed them with a balanced fertilizer every couple of weeks or once a month during the summer. You can also use organic fertilizers like vermicompost or compost.
Potting soil
Use a well-draining potting soil mix. For example, you can use 30% scent, 30% cocopeat, 20% pearlite, and 20% laka.
Toxicity
The desert rose plant is highly toxic to humans, dogs, cats, and horses. The ASPCA recommends keeping the plant away from all animals, as its toxins can be ingested by licking the plant. If ingested, call 911 immediately.
