In this video I play the Austrian hymn "Schutzfrau Österreichs" on the organ at Sacred Heart's Church in Graz, Austria.

On october 26st 1955 Austria declared it's neutral position, making this the date of Austria's national day. Every year at the 26st of october, the hymn "Schutzfrau Österreichs" ("Protectress of Austria") is sung at St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna and other churches in Austria. This hymn refers to the liberation of Austria after WW2 and the signing of the state treaty in 1955.
I tried to improvise a fanfare like prelude, following three verses of the hymn.

The organ at the Herz-Jesu Kirche (Sacred Heart's Church) in Graz was built by E. F. Walcker from 1889 till 1891 and enlarged in 1941. Today it consits of three manuals, a pedal board and 55 Stops, making it the 2nd largest organ in Styria.
