The Friday the 13th franchise is a series of slasher films, usually following the storyline of Jason Voorhees, an (later) undead serial killer who uses various weapons to kill teenagers under the spiritual direction of his dead mother Pamela. In his iconic form he wears a hockey mask, which he gained in the third film.
