On January 6, 2010, Umar Abdullah-Johnson posted the following message on his Facebook page “Promises, in 2010, to begin laying the groundwork for “The Frederick Douglass & Marcus Garvey Pan-African School For Black Boys” Specializing in Learning Disabilities & Disruptive Behavior Disorders. This will be a private school and YES you will pay in order for your son to attend. Grand Opening: 9-1-1, 2013. This is chess not checkers!”
Over 14 years has passed since Umar Johnson made this promise and there is still no functional school. Over a decade has passed since Umar Johnson started raising money to purchase Saint Paul’s College and there is still no functional school. Over 9 years have passed since Umar Johnson began searching for another school location and there is still no functional school. Over 7 years have passed since Umar Johnson announced that he had collected close to a million dollars and there is still no functional school. Over 5 yea rs have passed since Umar Johnson purchased abandoned buildings in Wilmington, Delaware and there is still no functional school. Over 1 year has passed since Umar Johnson announced that renovations were complete and there is still no functional school. In fact, Umar Johnson is still renovating which begs that question, why did he lie? The truth of the matter is that FDMG is a monolithic scam that has been fortified by decades of lies, deceit, fabricated delays, misrepresentation, manipulation, and financial mismanagement and coverup.
