3x8 to 1x10 MTB Conversion Guide - Advent X on GT Aggressor

Walkthrough on the tools, parts and process to make the shift from a 3x8 to 1x8 drivetrain. This is a pretty straightforward, and cost effective MTB upgrade but does require a few specialist tools. I made the upgrade with my 2023 GT Aggressor using an Advent X groupset but most of the this information will be relevant for anyone thinking of making the shift.
