Our unit runs firmware version 0.26v5 ( When this video was made 30th July 2025 ) and includes a real-time clock—an integrated hardware and software upgrade for time stamping captured signals. This feature is especially useful when exporting data to a laptop for future analysis.(Despite being an entry-level device, the FNIRSI 1013D oscilloscope provides accurate and consistent)
You may say why Use an Oscilloscope for DC Voltage:
To Observe Voltage Stability Over Time: A multi-meter gives a steady number (average), but an oscilloscope shows real-time voltage behaviour.
If a DC voltage is unstable or has noise, ripple, or drops, only the oscilloscope will reveal this clearly.
To Detect Hidden Problems: For power supplies, regulators, or circuits with switching components, the DC line may have unexpected fluctuations or spikes.Oscilloscopes can catch short-term transients or voltage dips that multi-meters completely miss.
