WE ARE GOING HOME TO CAGAYAN DE ORO! It has almost been a year since I set foot back in the City of Golden Friendship... my old home that inspired my life here in the Philippines.
On this day, we start off in Bukidnon, and make our way up to Lantapan. First stop is a wonderful place to eat called "El Paso", and then... I head to the Talaandig Republic and meet Salima, my amazing friend who makes soil paintings. Many months ago she was inspired to paint something. I am so grateful it will become a part of my life.
After an emotional and beautiful time in Bukidnon, myself and Bret drive to Cagayan de Oro City...
And I am back in my old room at the the family house where it all started.
Home. The Philippines. Emotional. Beautiful.
