Keeping your sewing room tidy and your sewing machine clean are basic tips to be able to sew properly.
Planning ahead is important to know if you have everything you need, as well as leaving everything by hand for your next project.
Doing inventory every so often is good to know what you have but, if you don’t, you can also get extra stuff when you go to the haberdashery; it doesn’t hurt.
And when sewing, having extra bobbins in basic colours is a good idea so you don’t stop sewing; doing the same task all at once; batch sewing when possible and giving “serger style” sewing a try, to sew faster.
