Ok, so there are a lot of improvements that can be done here.
It is possible to keep P-speed on the 2nd raft, but it doesn't save too much time. You can also hit the moving platform directly after on the first cycle but it is very difficult.
In a run my goal is to not lose cape in this level and execute the above tricks. Maybe I will come back later and improve on some strats, but this is good enough for now.
